The MoU was submitted to urge the CPN- UML to prioritize women agendas in its upcoming 9th General Convention.

National Forum for Women Right Concern, Nepal (NFOWRC) is a central and national level, non-profit, umbrella body of rural women’s organized network (Mahila Pairawi Manch, Mahila Adhikar Manch and Jagaran Mahila Sanjal) working in the sector of women rights in Nepal’s 37 districts across all five development regions for last one decade. Expanding its network in 37 districts, NFOWRC was registered in District Administration Office, Kathmandu on 2070-12-10 with registration number 624, receiving a legal status as an umbrella association. Basing on several issues relating to women rights, the Forum has been launching public awareness as well as policy-oriented campaigns from local to national level.
